Responsible for all tool and die designs as well as specialty machines performing finishing operations for the product. Worked closely with customers to ensure conformity to industry standards. Assisted set up a custom MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) system of tool requirements based on customer orders, on hand tooling and projected tool life. This system allowed us to order all tooling up to 6 months ahead of time to receive them in a JIT (Just In Time) manner. Worked closely with vendors to assure quality tools on time. Designed a new state of the art, large scale facility which was built and is still in full operation today. Streamlined the manufacturing process by engineering an alternate method of manufacture which eliminated the biggest bottleneck procedure entirely. Built their web site and also created a database driven B2B web site.

Hired as a draftsman before graduating from high school. This was a learning experience. The president of the company at that time was Torben Danielson. He saw potential and took me under his wing. He taught me every aspect of manufacturing at the over 200,000 sq. ft. facility located in Medina Ohio. The facility was later purchased by Alcoa/Huck and has since been re-sold back to the original investors. Gained respect and admiration from all floor workers by working as a trainee in every department until I was proficient at each.
